&Mead is delighted to offer a range of stunning shawls from British designer Beshlie Mc Kelvie. I fell hopelessly in love, the instance I touched them.  Beshlie has meticulously crafted a fusion of beautiful design and anthropological research. Each scarf has a joyful exuberance, such a obvious choice for this room...as there is something of the fairy tale about them.

These exquisite shawls are a delight to wear, the softness of the blended silk and cotton combined create a gentle  drape ..the size of each one envelops you and the colours are guaranteed to enhance any outfit. For me the colours evoke the sea, from its stormy greys, swirling whites and passive blues with hints of  golden sand and  silvery fish - the Sea Collection. 

The Dupatta is a silk and cotton mix hand loomed shawl. Each delicious colour has been individually hand dyed and block printed - embellished with silver motifs. Each crafted item is inspired by tradition and ethical responsibility. The empowerment of marginalised women is at the core of Beshlie's ethos.

Indigo  is a delightful mix of Aqua, navy and grey tones with silver embellished motifs.  Each scarf is trimmed with soft cream cotton bobbles.
